Mission
Have you ever thought that software projects are too hard? That software companies seem to be out to confuse rather than help? That software is too hard to use and just isn't useful? Us too.
Our mission is to make software easy to buy, easy to install, easy to use and truly useful. We want to be recognized as the best software company in life and health insurance. From the moment we start we'll ask you to tell us how we're doing. If you don't tell us we are the best software company you've worked with, then we'll try harder.
Values
Our learning has pointed us squarely at the fact that your values are the unchanging essence of who you are and drive what you do. So what's so important to us around here?
Delivery - Our people have a "do or die" attitude to fulfilling our promises. We realize that every promise missed erodes confidence and frustrates. We make sure we plan properly so that we don't make unrealistic promises. If, for some reason out of our control, we think we might miss a deadline, we let you know as quickly as possible.
Honesty - The truth may hurt sometimes but dealing with what's real is the only way. Having a culture where honesty is valued means a focus is put on learning from mistakes, solving problems and driving the company forward.
Respect - We lead with respect when dealing with others. It's the maintenance of respect that's earned, not granting it. Treating our clients with respect means informing, not confusing or using knowledge as power. Internally, whether you're the newest coop intern here, or one of our leaders, you are treated the same way.
Team - People at BlueSun are team players. People out for themselves or harboring giant egos need not apply. If you're here as a prospect, check out what our customers say - we have long-term involvement with almost all of our clients and we're usually seen as an extension of their teams.
One thing we don't have is any of those posters with dolphins, mountains and cookie-cutter messages on them. These values are real and if you are considering working with us it's worth thinking about yours. When values align it gives you strong foundations for anything you want to tackle.
